Activate Your Services

Here you’ll find the steps to activate one or more services as a Service Provider on the needyou App! Remember, to activate your services, you must first be registered. Choose one of the following options:
Step 1 – Activate Your Work Hours

Once you log in, you’ll see your main dashboard as a Service Pro.
To start offering services on needyou, the first thing you need to do is set your work hours by clicking on “Work Hours.”
Defining your availability means that clients will only be able to request your services during the days and times you select. Pick the hours that fit your lifestyle and be strategic by opening time slots when other Service Pros might not be available.
And don’t worry: every service request must be approved by you first. You’ll receive the request, review the date and time, and decide whether to accept it.

Step 2
Activate Your Service Languages
You may have already completed this step during sign-up, but you can review or update your service language here.
On needyou, many services can be delivered via video call.
For example: someone might need virtual personal training, quick legal advice to solve an issue, or simply an online class.
That’s why it’s so important for both parties to speak the same language

Step 3 – Add a New Service by Category
Go to “My Active Services” and then click the “Add New Services” ⊕ button.
The “Service Category” screen will open. Search for the category that matches your area of expertise. A menu of subcategories will appear, where you’ll find potential specializations.
Select the one that best fits your skills and experience to start offering your services.
Step 4 – Your Experience & Content

Fill out the form — the more honest you are, the higher the chances your clients will rate you positively. Misrepresenting your experience level may result in suspension.
Next, upload videos and images where you appear talking about your services (related to the form you selected). You can also upload videos showing yourself performing the service for clients. (Remember to protect your clients’ identity if they appear in the video, or make sure you have their consent.)
Important:

Videos must not contain watermarks, logos, strikes, or text overlays. They should be as natural as possible, preferably recorded directly from your phone without editing.

All services and forms you submit will go through an approval process before being published. You’ll receive a push notification once approved, and the service will then appear as active.

Step 5 – Choose Services & Set Your Rates
Now it’s time to select the services you want to offer. In each form, you’ll find a list of services related to the specialization you chose. These are the most common services professionals in your field provide.
For example, if you’re an Accountant, you’ll see services like “Tax Return Consultation.”
At first, you’ll be enabled to provide services through video calls. Later, after completing several successful sessions, you’ll also be able to offer in-person services.

Select the services you want to activate.

Choose whether you want to offer them in 30-minute or 1-hour sessions (you can enable both and set different rates for each).

Set your hourly rate for each service.
You’ll be able to offer services in 30-minute or 1-hour formats (perfect for consultations, coaching, therapy, classes, training, and more). You can also set a limit on the maximum consecutive hours a client can book per session—so nobody can schedule more than what you allow at once.

After choosing the services that best fit you and filling in the price details, just hit the 'Ready to roll' button and you’re all set!
